So I joined CrossFit originally for my mental health. It was a way to relieve stress and to be able to go home to my kids and not be really worked up from a day of stressful work. So I started coming three times a week just doing Crossfit Monday, Wednesday, Friday. And I enjoyed it. It was fun. Got to meet a lot of great people. They're supportive and over time I was getting compliments like hey you you looking good. You know you're slimming down.
Even though I didn't quite see it yet It was nice to be supportive from the coaches and from other members. And then as time went by I was stronger. I could run around with my toddler without getting winded. I could pick her up and hold her longer. So that was that was nice to see.
I was eating better. I like my choices in food. I was working on not only eating healthy for me but showing my kids like, hey. Like, instead of trying this, let's try this. And so throughout the year, the kids picked up some better eating habits which was nice.
And after about a year of coming, I've noticed my I needed a whole new wardrobe. My clothes started getting big so that was the biggest change that I saw myself and now I come four times a week sometimes five times a week just to come and socialize and see people and have a good time...
Wow! Where do I start? Amazing community. Coach/owners are THE real deal! From the hospitality, coaching, and walking the walk of health mind and body... They know their art and I am humbled by the knowledge that was shared with me! Gave me LOTS to study up on as an athlete and a coach. WELL DONE CF HOUMA! Well done. I hope to pass through again one day and hang out with you guys. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your community for the week. If you are traveling through or looking for a home gym in the area check these guys out. You will NOT leave unsatisfied.

I have gone to CrossFit Houma for around 5 years. It has allowed me to accomplish every fitness and health goal I could even imagine. The instructors are knowledgable and the atmosphere is inviting/fun. I Would recommend this gym 10/10 for anyone wanting to take a shot at personal fitness.

I'm not a big fan of exercise, especially gyms full of people where I don't 100% know what I'm doing. Cross fit has been the best. They walk you through every exercise every day. There is always a coach there to help answer questions, watch your form, and help you plan steps towards whatever your goal is. And the absolute best is the family I have gained.
